Bryant Walley
Hey all. Hope this is something simple I am missing. I have the audio track. I add Waves Harmony as the first Audio Fx. I add a Midi track. There does not seem to be a way to route that midi track to the Waves Harmony on the audio track. I went into the Plugin Manager and set the option to use as a synth and re-scanned the plugins. Still do not see the option. This seems to work without any additional configuration in Ableton but I would prefer to do everything in Cakewalk. Thanks for any assistance. scook
There is no need to ever change a plug-in from an FX to a synth. If an FX plug-in can use MIDI data, open the VST2/3 drop down in the plug-in standard header to turn on "Enable MIDI Input". When an FX plug-in has "Enable MIDI Input" turned on, the plug-in will appear in MIDI track output drop downs.
Xoo
It also appears in the Synth Rack (which kind of freaked me out the first time I saw it just pop up there).
