I've had too many failures with Samsung SSD's. I only use WD Black for 4 years now. No issues.

How was Samsungs RMA service.   WD and Seagate are very good. So was Intel bu they sold off their SSD division.

Samsung drives inevitably failed at least a month out of warranty, so I didn't even bother. Just trashed 'em into the circular file of unwanted parts.

Seagate RMA support was excellent. Haven't had a reason to send anything back to WD yet.?

Upgraded about 18 months ago to a 860EVO 500gb system drive. And 2 x 1TB Crucial MX500 for storage/samples.  Superb performance from all with no hiccups. Could never go back to HDD now (though used an external 2TB WD spinner for archiving).

I'm replacing my Seagate 2TB HDD (RMA replacement), 10 year old WD 2TB Black, in place of a WD 4TB Black, which will free up a SATA port for my 2TB SSD.  I'll only put Kontakt libraries on there.
