Johnbee58
How are slide up/down done in SI bass? Must the pitch bend be used or is there a keyswitch or a MIDI control command? Thank you very much. ?John B
sjoens
1. Flip the MONO/POLY switch to MONO 2. Adjust the SLIDE knob to desired seconds of travel - 0 to 3 sec. (The SI Booklet shot below shows 0 to 10 sec. but current version only goes to 3). 3. Overlap two or more notes in PRV. Patrick Rosenwald
And just in case anyone is trying to automate this in the Track View, you can initiate a slide by changing from Poly to Mono using the Mono/polyphonic midi command (>50% is Poly, <50% is Mono) and setting the Slide time using the Portamento On/Time midi command (100%=3 sec). Note however that the Mono/polyphonic parameter must be set to 0% in order for the slide function to be activated - it's not enough to be just <50%. sjoens
Thanks Pat. And this works for all SI functions. Why wasn't I using this all along? 7 hours ago, Patrick Rosenwald said: Mono/polyphonic parameter must be set to 0% in order for the slide function to be activated - it's not enough to be just <50%. Cutoff point is actually 49.99999>%
