Distorted midi playback

M<y Midi playback is distorted. also have some midi dropouts.................

Ideas?

Yeah. Your audio driver needs to be ASIO and your timing Master needs to be the interface.

 I dont understand the second point..................by interface do you mean my komplete audio 6 device where i plug in mics or headphones?  its already selected.
is ASIO4ALL  good choice, or are there others? Thanks for answering.

ASIO4ALL is garbage. The Bakers specifically recommend against it

Why aren't you using the ASIO driver supplied by Native Instruments?

I read that thread and all I can do is shake my head and wonder why when presented with the solution  in the first answer  why it went on and on.

im 70 years old and a parkinson's disease   patient. My cognition isn't perfect and I'm new to composing.  Thanks for all your help!
