Yes, it is usable. I'm using a Lead channel with Master at 9.0 and Gain at 1.4 (and higher) with Boost ON.

I don't think so especially in comparison with newer AA amps.  Somebody here reviewed ReAmp  with the same conclusion about weeks ago.

Shibalba is good choice, then! I'd prefer one good amp rather than a bunch of mediocre ones.

The Crown has high, low, and clean channels. Shibalba has lead and clean channels. Is lead channel suitable for distorted rhythm guitar?
