Can`t register a new VSTi plugin! numbers and letters doesn`t enter

Hi Cakewalk friends,

 

I can`t enter my new vsti name and serial number into the registering box that appears as I launch the plugin!

Every time I try it, Cakewalk link the letters and numbers to a function and start to play or opening new windows but I can`t enter letters and numbers to the registration box that opens!

Help please!

What is the plug in and why do you need Cakewalk open to register?  Is it in focus? Dim pro you need to run Cakewalk as administrator

Copy and paste should always work.

If the prompts are not in a separate window, click the keyboard  in the upper right on the standard header above the plug-in UI.

That's not a Cakewalk issue, its a plugin vendor issue.
