RexRed
This is a new rendition of this song I wrote a while back. I hope you enjoy this Cakewalk peeps! All the best to you! RexRed
Wookiee
You are one for writing lost love songs, this is not my thing, which does not mean I can not appreciate the quality of your work. You have done very good production and capture job, with some nice playing and a good vocal.

AndyB01
Oh my - that vocal starts and I'm gone. Can't say I was a massive fan of the synth sound in the instrumental but this is simply a matter of taste - fabulous work as always. Andy
David Sprouse
Needs some *low air* in the accompaniment. Lyrics are great, again. instead of the saw lead, maybe do pedal steele?

RexRed
Thanks for the awesome replies! The saw lead in the center of the song is a hold over from when this song was made back in the late 80's. All of the other tracks have been remade but that one. I plan to revise that too, perhaps with a pedal steel. That saw lead was recorded on a reel to reel from a Yamaha DX27 synth. It has lost some fidelity and harmonics over the years and that fidelity is only recoverable with redoing the track entirely. I will probably use a different sound/instrument when I do remake the track. Thanks for the kind comments Cakewalk peeps! Love always! Rex

Andrew Rhodes
Fantastic voice Rex. Do you play the lap steel and fiddle as well as the guitar? Very talented if you do!
AndyB01
Hard to like this any more than I did already but now it's an absolute country classic. Steel guitar is soooo sweet. If I could have one really minor crit - I'd like a touch more variety in the percussion track. Great work Andy
