Apeirofobia Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 Hi Folks is it possible to open only one midi clip in the Piano Roll View? Everytime I open a clip, it displays the whole track and sometimes it's very confusing when you want to edit only a small detail.

0 sjoens Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 (edited) Awkward substitute is temporarily mute the other clips (select & hit K) which renders their notes white in PRV. More awkward would be to color the clips differently. Showing Clip Outlines doesn't work when clips are back to back on the same track. Edited April 25, 2022 by sjoens
0 John Vere Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 (edited) If you highlight only that clip it will be darker than the rest of the notes in the PVR. Also the now time marker will be the same position track and piano roll view so use that to zero in on the note you want to edit Edited April 26, 2022 by John Vere
0 sjoens Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 Initially when opening a PRV window the Now Time Line does not coincide with actual Now time in Track View. I have to hit Play and Stop to get them lined up. (Now is when someone tells me that's a setting somewhere.) Highlighting a clip will make it darker... until you start working on specific notes, un-highlighting it.
