May get better results adding a subwoofer than swapping out the 305s for the 308s.

Have the LSR305's. They work great for my small studio!  The LSR 308's have a +/- 2db LF switch if you find the bass is a bit much. I haven't needed a SW  for my 305's mainly because I monitor bass in my headphones. Maybe not the best approach. Seems to work ok.
