Cakewalk doesnt depict stereo image

So basically i was trying to record my guitar through my Presonus Firestudio, but when i try to pan left & right the sound just goes quieter. I allready checked the Presonus software and on there the stereo imgage works perfectly fine.

Make sure the track interleave is set to mono. 

Set the track input to a single channel on the interface.
