Guest Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Very enjoyable groove, the vocal style was somewhat unexpected but once you get used to it - it's a good fit. Bass is a stand out for me - excellent work. Andy
DeeringAmps Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 A little suggestion here lyrically: Someone to take me there, it won't take long I know to fix that little mistake tear, (as in tare, torn not tear -tir- as in a teardrop) why is the english language so complicated? almost sorry I mentioned it. ? t 1

freddy j Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Love the laid back funky-jazzy feel to this song. Ya, that bass is indeed cool and the guitar accents are perfect. The vocals are different and that is what I like about them. Interesting lyrics -- 1965 eh? It was an interesting year. Well done --- I really enjoyed it!!
bjornpdx Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 I like the theme - the unforgiven minute that we can never do over. I think we all have one or two of those. Well done arrangement. -Bjorn
Larry T. Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 definite Steely Dan vibe which is quite a compliment in and of itself....very good work as you've nailed the noir quirkiness perfectly ????
