[SOLVED] Who's down with PDC?

When PDC is on my Live input works as expected but Playback midi triggers  1/4 note early  compared to where the notes are visually placed!
How to setup Cakewalk to just work without all this delay PDC business?
I never use to have to toggle a button to set latency for play/record before and have no idea why this has happened.
same hardware and plugins behaving differently.
win 10 pro

the good news it appears to be just that project.
So i'm going to try to salvage the audio and drag it into a new project.

That's good advice, do most plugins say they have a lookahead buffer, or maybe it's called something else? I don't ever remember this being an issue.

Mostly dynamics plug-ins intended for mastering, some IR reverbs and linear phase plug-ins buffer their input.

Often, the plug-ins have a way to adjust the lookahead buffer.

Plug-ins may reference it in their documentation or there will be some statement about latency.

My workflow is to not use any effects while in the tracking phase of recording. Why would you need them?  
I try a have a great sounding recording happening without the effects and then start adding them at the mixing stage.
At that point it no longer matters if they are resource hogs. I’ve never used PDC.

I do use the Global effects bypass if at the mixing phase I find myself re recording a track.

Something corrupted the project file.

Deleted the project and started again, importing the recorded files. works as expected.
