charles kasler Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 I updated the driver for my focusrite Scarlet interface and lost the sonitus plugins or at least sonar won't recognize them now. Also FX chains no longer work. I can't combine FX in the bin into a chain and my previously created chains are gone. I can live without sonitus and probably without chains also but they are a nice way of organizing the FX bin. Anyone had experience with this? I don't know if I can revert back to the old driver or not. Thanks.
Jeremy Oakes Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 Which interface ? What os ? I have the 18i20 running on its latest drivers with no issues. Rolling back will not necessarily help - any error messages, from CbB or in the event viewer ?. Jerry

No idea why, even Focusrite tech support said it wouldn't affect my plugs, but it did. I don't think I'm missing anything by using an older driver in place of the latest one?
Xoo Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 My guess would be an overwrite of a core C++ library. There's a thread here where Noel posted a link to a consolidated C++ library download/install. I reckon that getting and running that after the driver update may well put things back working again.
