Yes, I remember thinking it was weird when it was originally announced.  How would they be able to compete with Mac OS and all their goofy names?

I've never heard of Windows 93 till now. (Hint, just start clicking stuff, the 'Hamster' on the desktop is my favorite so far. :o )

W2000 is still my favorite OS.  I don't think it made it into most homes because of the $179 price tag.  I got it via Ed discount.  It seems like it had a lot less nonsense.
