0 reginaldStjohn
I don't think you can get rid of it unless there is some color setting where you could blend it in? here are all the options. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Views.03.html
0 sjoens
The dots appear before the beginning of a clip. They do not appear when a track has no clip. You can paint them to match the Track View Clips Pane Background. Preferences = Customization > Colors > Clips Pane Ellipse Theme Editor = Track View | Clips Pane | Clips > Clips Pane Ellipse Edited February 24, 2022 by sjoens
0 Byron Dickens
I don't know why you'd want to. They help delineate the grid in blank areas where there is no data.
0 Will.
No, you can't. Why is it bothering you, if i may ask?

I'm sure in an old version of SONAR you could turn them off, but I may be misremembering.
0 sjoens
Ooopsy, you're right. But in my theme they are the same. I haven't found a way to turn off ellipses but you can turn off Track Separators in the Views > Display menu. 0 John Vere
Those dots are a valuable tool for showing you that there’s audio or midi data further along in a track.
0 sjoens
Yep. How often do I end up with a sliver so small I can't see it, save for the dots. But if someone wants 'em gone, who am I to ask why?? 1
