My Favorite Rick Beato Thumbnail (Not a Deal)

The actual title of the thumbnail is "This Song Blows Me Away,"  but this is better.  You would think by now he'd pay attention to the way his videos are presented in various places on YouTube.

I've slowly warmed up to his presentation style and now find his work enjoyable. That one about Christopher Cross' guitar solo was fun.

the guitar talent in austin was just ridiculous at the time. eric johnson had the electromagnets going, his drummer! had his own band to play guitar (he could kill as well), srv was the 2nd!! guitar player in paul ray's band, his brother was still flashing at the time before going down the less is more path, wc clark got stuck playing bass, billy gibbons was a regular (although he be houston) along with albert collins and freddie king,  ray benson if you're into swing and so, so many more that never made the big time.

I think he's brilliant and I've learned a lot from his videos. 

I do think about how long he's going to be able to keep this up.   The ten greatest ukelele solos!    Why this Kalimba solo makes me weep!!

But he always makes things interesting, knows a ton about music and production, and is quite a guitar player.
