Really liked that guitar playing at the beginning.

I don't think it's what you're going for, but the song writing reminds me a lot of 90s British indie bands such as Midway Still (who I've just googled and found are still going strong) - they had a heavier sound, but the sentiment is similar. It's that slightly off beat Kinks feel, I guess.

Thanks for listening Philip - I have never heard of Midway Still - I'll give them a listen. As far as what I'm going for, I'm not really sure when I think about it - lol.

Doug, this one's my new favorite of yours. The kinda Kinks baseline really makes this work and the chord changes are right on perfect. The lyrics are a bit generic maybe but doesn't take anything away.
