Does Cakewalk use more resources to exclude plugins?

I wouldn't think so - it is the spawned scan process that figures out something should be excluded, and then that's pretty much the end of it, as far as I know.

I have had as many as 1200 plugins present on my system, with some that were excluded, and saw no issues from that.  Others too, have large numbers of plugins.
