gbc410
I use cakewalk and I use korg wavestate keyboard. I installed the driver's and hooked the unit to my computer via USB. When I press the power button cakewalk recognizes the unit. I would like to create a audio file in cakewalk and record the factory presents on my audio file. Not sure how to tell cakewalk to pick up my sounds coming out of korg wavestate. Help
scook
The keyboard USB connection is MIDI only. To record audio from the keyboard requires an audio interface between the keyboard audio outputs and the PC.

scook
Recording audio from a hardware synth is no different than any other audio source: plug the audio outputs from the synth into the audio inputs of the audio interface, add an audio track to the Cakewalk project, set the input of the audio track to the audio interface, record enable the audio track click the record button in the transport module.
