where are the instruments?

So I am just now trying out Cakewalk. I used cakewalk many many years ago but am now just getting back into it.

but I have one burning question.

Where are the instruments. all I can find are a bass guitar, a piano, drums, and a string section.

That's all there is unless you install your previous versions.

Plug-ins bundled with Cakewalk by BandLab

If you have a license to an old (preferably 64bit) Cakewalk product, all the content bundled with it is usable in CbB. If you perform an install of an older Cakewalk DAW, make sure to install CbB last.

There are also quite a few free synths available on the net. Have a look at this thread.

There is also their TTS-1 soft synth with thousands of sounds. Well, maybe hundreds.

There's an Instruments sub form here with a long list of free instruments. Also a lot of the tutorials I watch included links to free VST's that they use to demonstrate stuff.
