Send Issue (+6db gain)

Hi guys,

I am very frustrated with a problem related to sends so I decided to ask you for support. When I create a send my original track is always getting louder by approx. 6dB. In other words, adding a send itself boosts the track's signal by ~ 6dB for no reason. This happens even when there is no effect in the send (please find the attached screenshots). I did a test for both mono and stereo tracks, and the problem remains the same. Many thanks for your help.

Where is your send going ? Are you adjusting your send level after turning it on ?

What is the output of your EQ on track 1?  It could be adding gain.

Are you asking why 6 and not a 3 dB gain?

Is it 6 dB because it's two stereo tracks?

Actually, original track is the same. You are sending two signals from Track 1 to the Master so it combines them.

1. Track 1 -> Master

2. Track 1 Send -> Bus EQ SFX

3. Bus EQ SFX -> Master

To maintain Master output, you need to lower the output of Track 1 or Bus EQ SFX.

En el master se suman la señal de la pista y de bus  a donde has mandado el envío por lo tanto es normal que aumente en nivel de señal, si baja el envío veras que se reduce la salida del master.
