Out Of Tune

For some reason my project keeps going out of tune. I stop the project and start it back then it plays in key but within a couple minutes it goes out of tune again. Anyone might know why?

By any chance are you using MIDI? If so, perhaps there is a pitch bend command in there some place.  Recently one of my usb keyboards has started to kick out some random pitch bend commands (verified by looking at the output with MIDI-OX).

If the pitch slippage is with audio, someone else might have some ideas for you.

A common cause is somehow your sample rate has changed. Like if your project was 44.1 and you watch a movie windows might switch to 48.

It has both MIDI and AUDIO.

I don't think so because it just happens regardless...

Guys I simply removed all the MIDI inputs on each MIDI track coming from my controller and that solved it. But isn't that kinda dumb? Each time you have to re-enable it if you want to play a new melody or something?

Maybe spray a tiny bit of contact cleaner in the pitch controller wheel (definitely not oil based! Not WD40!)
