sjoens
BREVERB2 manual shows a "Restore Factory Presets" button that does not exist in real-life - both for the plug-in and standalone. Instead there's "Ask confirmation when overwriting another preset" which is active but failed to work when I accidentally overwrote a preset. How do I reset the factory preset? Glenn Stanton
the presets.db is a SQL lite file, so unless there is a rollback function (which the "restore" button sounds like) you'd have to reload that db file. depending on how you backup your system, you might be able to restore that file to its last known good config. another thought (if re-installing isn't an option) is to install it on anther system, bring up the preset you want, document it (photo etc) and configure and save it as the factory preset on your main system. sjoens
I have an older system that might already have it. Thanks Glenn.
sjoens
Overloud says to delete the presets.db file and let BReverb recreate it when opened again. To find it within BReverb you click & hold the Preferences button until the Appdata folder opens. Curious why this is not in the manual and what role factory-presets.db file plays...
Glenn Stanton
does deleting the presets.db remove any custom presets?
sjoens
Yes you can export them beforehand, then import them back post reset (right click menu). Quite the convoluted process IYAM.
