Promised Land

Not done a lot of recording for a while, but had a bit more time recently, so here's my 3rd song completed using Cakewalk.

As always, there are some bits that I could have spent a little more time on, but I got to the point of "that's enough now!"

After Wookiee's comments, I decided to do a different version. I've listened too much to both versions, I think I've become "ear blind", and I'm not sure what to think.

I'd like you guys to let me know which version you think sounds "best". Cheers!

Basically it sounds OK I do wonder if the basic beat could do with some variation???

I think I know what you mean Wookiee. When you are going your own merry way, you go down a path that you think is right, but that doesn't mean that it is right - different ears are needed sometimes. I'll try and do a new version with different drums I think.
