murat k.
Changing Clips Foreground Color Does not Affect PRV as you see below: Edited November 29, 2021 by murat k.
sjoens
This is true when changing CLIP foreground colors via Inspector. To change them over multiple views, use Preferences >Customization > Colors or Theme Editor. This will also retain colors after bouncing. For some undisclosed reason, MIDI track foreground color for tracks 23, 38, and maybe others, don't follow the rules. And PRV Drum notes are unchangeably black. I said Clip Color. Clip color is individual. They use for different purposes.

sjoens
In order to have PRV notes change color with track view color change you have to do what I describe above. Edited November 30, 2021 by sjoens

sjoens
You did not show that in your 1st post. So, Yes. PRV will only follow the track's "main" foreground color. Edited November 30, 2021 by sjoens
murat k.
I did, actually. But you didn't get it.
Starship Krupa
This would be nice. I'm a big fan of setting my clip backgrounds so that they can be distinguished in PRV, but having the note colors distinguishable would be even better. sjoens
Not exactly the same but I think this was the idea behind Show Clip Outlines.

Which I use in every MIDI project and love, especially since visibility was increased with dark PRV's. But I agree with the OP, that it would be nice if the colors of the notes changed to match the foreground color as well.
