aidan o driscoll Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 Great Value this and perfect timing too .. my last cheap sub is just up Be careful, DO NOT use any other coupon with this, if you do it cancels the 2 for 1 and gives you standard 12 issues 1

InstrEd Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 Does it come with a free MIDI keyboard? Asking for......well me since IK forgot about me!
Tim Smith Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 In the last issue I read CM was going to make it easier for online subscribers to get the extra files they included in the old CD using direct links. I attempted the other methods and they didn't work for me.
Fleer Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 My subscription was at $8.39 for a year. I'm not renewing, no siree.
Barrie Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 I've subscribed before, but I find that I almost never read the issues. Am I alone? (or is this just like not using plugins we buy) ?
Tim Smith Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 Just now, Barrie said: I've subscribed before, but I find that I almost never read the issues. Am I alone? (or is this just like not using plugins we buy) ? I tend to flip through the issues I get mostly. One of their last mags had an article about compression and EQ , some artist I know nothing about ( and have no interest) and a few write ups on new low cost interfaces. They seem to be targeting the beginner. I still keep the sub around because occasionally there's something worth looking at and it's a whole lot better than flipping through Better Homes and Gardens. I'm probably at the end of my cycle though. I've read more technical articles on compression , EQ and general studio mixing than I can remember. Have no real interest in the next sampled instrument. I'm beginning to look more at modeled instruments . I have everything I need to do whatever I want to do, so in that sense I'm probably not a good candidate for the magazine. I remember when I drooled over some of that stuff, but now there's no excuse for not making music with what I have lol. 1

Mark B Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 Have the number of free new plugins each month decreased ? seems to be more sample packs each month than before ? My subscription expired a few months back I probably will resubscribe at some point
