No sound unless I disable plugins.

Hi all,

Out of the blue I lost all sound from a project but clicking bypass plugins restores the sound. I tried deleting all plugins and switched off all pro-channels but still sound is only available when bypass plugins is clicked.

Does anyone know what's causing this?

What plugins are involved? This does sound like a corrupt project. Did you try your back-up project?  Does it behave the same?

Open Console View and check the Master buss for PC channel and FX. If all sound is gone with FX enabled, it would seem you have an FX on a buss (if you created any), or on the Master itself.

Are you using Concrete Limiter? An older version used to mute the track or buss it was on.

I would try closing the project and reopening. Don't save any thing, just close/reopen.

Its possibly a bad plug in. You might want to list those.

Yes, a bad or not authorized plugin could be the cause.
