rendered file does not sound the same as the project in cakewalk

it sounds compressed for some reason but that did not happen before the last cakewalk update

The first test to perform for this type of problem is import the file back into Cakewalk and play it.

If playback is OK in Cakewalk, the problem is not the exported file. 

Usually the problem is the program/device playing the exported file.

yeah you are right i think the problem is the program playing the exported file

Check for audio "enhancement" settings in the playback program preferences or Windows.
