Pro Channel Quad Curve EQ question

Hello , When eqing a track that may take quite a few time thru to get it right . "is there a way to keep the Expanded EQ interface from collapsing when you Start or Stop the transport"   I have to expand it While the track is playing to take advantage of the shown EQ curve in real time.  I've been wasting a lot of time setting the bands in places that aren't optimal. I've been using "span" to identify exact frequencies not even realizing it could be done in quad curve eq.     Thanks ..   mark

Also this is were having a second monitor shines. You put the multi dock on your second screen and things stay put. 

But with only one screen you can also open the console view in the multi dock, access the Pro-channel there and then use "D" to hide show the multi dock. I explain this in this video.
