mark skinner Posted October 22, 2021 Posted October 22, 2021 Cool song and Great job by Everybody. Who is doing the vocals ? I'm hearing an EQ change on the mix from around 2:33 to about 3:00 where the highs seem to drop out then come back in. It seems pretty obvious especially on the lead guitar. I think the lead could be ducked a little under the vocals and brought back up between phrases. Just my first impressions. I Really enjoyed it , don't hear much metal around here .. mark 2 1

Jesse Screed Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 The All Starz! This is one super group that is truly a super group, not just a bunch of names dropped to earn clicks, but a an amalgamation of artistic elements producing a novel compound. 2
bjornpdx Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 Not into metal but I liked this one nevertheless. Also, what Mark said above about the EQ. Just seems like the volume drops in that section. -Bjorn 1 1
David Sprouse Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 liked it. The lead vocal was very persuasive. 1 1

antler Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 Wow - that was cool; well done everyone! As someone that enjoys symphonic metal (in addition to other genres too) I loved the overall sound of the mix, and the guitar solo. My only comment on the mix is that metal is usually compressed a tiny bit more, with a bit more emphasis on the low end. I realise that it's quite nice to not overly squash the mix though. 1 1
noynekker Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 Pretty epic piece here dudes ! Forum all stars all around. The vocals are so well done and mixed in here, super clarity in a very busy mix . . . nice. Just a pleasure to listen to how the band comes together here . . . wow, was this all done virtually, remotely ? 1 1

Leizer Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 Great stuff all around. If I compare to earlier BJZ songs I think the vocals fits better in the mix now. Well played in a great song. 1
Lynn Wilson Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 I've played this several times, and it gets better with each pass. Damn good songwriting and performances just jump out at ya! A+ 1
