Cakewalk is no longer asking for saving a Recovery copy after abnormal exit

Hi

I remember that after (at least some) abnormal exits Cakewalk was asking to create a copy of current work. Now this option seem to be gone. I still have lots of abnormal exits but haven't seen this dialog box for some time. That is a pity, cause that was a very helpful feature. Would like to have it back  Thanks for help in advance.

It depends on how severe the failure is.

That would mean that  last few months I had only severe failures 

How to have a "soft" failure, then?

You may want to experiment with the ExceptionHandlingSeverity parameter added in 2021.04. See the Improved plug-in exception handling / crash reporting section in http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=NewFeatures.023.html

I guess improved error detection  could help me to learn how to avoid severe failures and score more "soft" crashes ...and that could lead me to the opportunity of having recovery copies again. Long way, but maybe worth to try ?

There may be some clues in the Windows Event log too.
