Max Arwood
Could this -> C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Command Center\Downloads Be relocated? It looks like install files for every cake produce from forever! Over 50gb.
scook
Yes Copy/back up the files then delete them from C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Command Center\Downloads The files are useful when installing SONAR. Cakewalk Command Center looks in this folder and if the installers are there, Cakewalk Command Center uses them instead of re-downloading the files.
John Vere
+1 And to add- back it up 2x. That folder is worth a lot of money. It’s a huge time saver if you build a new system. Saves you from having to re download all those huge files. Also you might want to copy all the serial numbers from your my product page and keep those in the same place. At this point the old server is still available but that could change overnight . When I rebuild a new system I use a backup drive and run the CCC installer. This will create the new download folder on C drive in the location sCook noted. Now copy all the content from the backup to the new folder. Run CCC and install everything you need including Splat. When done I delete everything I installed from the new folder. Edited October 5, 2021 by John Vere
