Make Instrument Track Bug?

Why is it impossible to combine the audio and MIDI tracks into a INSTRUMENT track any more?  Is it me or is there a bug.  The make Instrument track option is always greyed out.....

Works for me.

Select the audio and MIDI tracks that point to the same instance of a synth and the Make Instrument Track menu option is enabled.

Ok.  Thanks.  I didn't remember having to select them the tracks previously.  I only remember selecting the instrument from the dropdown menu in the MIDI track and then right clicking in Sonar.  We never had to also select the audio and MIDI tracks.  I still have Sonar installed and that is how it still works.............

Might have been changed in 2021.06.

There was a bit of work done in that area.

Can't say for sure I so rarely use the split and make instrument functions.

Maybe people should refer to the documentation before they start crying BUG.
