What's the horizontal line near bottom of clip

Question

Posted

Anyone know what the horizontal lines are at the bottom of my clips?  Haven't noticed it until recently and only appears on some tracks.  I'm not referring to the clip automation line, but the same colored line as my clip wave sitting near the bottom of the clip?  Checked all of the view and option settings and nothing seems to affect the line.

Another way of doing this is just to pick the left only input on your track:

The advantage of this, is that it will record as mono, but you can leave your interleave as stereo so you can add stereo effects on to it if needed.

The area in the red square is the right channel of a stereo clip.

The clip was recorded on the left (or odd) channel only.

For mono recording the track interleave should be set to mono.

In this case, it was set to stereo.

Your current config is hiding the track interleave button.

This could be due to the workspace or track control setting.

The interleave button is also in the track inspector regardless of the workspace and track control settings.
