Loss of volume after exporting.

When I export a project to mp3 or WAV I loose a lot of volume. Even when I max out faders and make a project basically unlistenable, playing the file still requires me to turn the volume way up on whatever device I’m using to listen. Does anyone else have this problem, or know any solutions?

Import the file back into the DAW and check the levels.

What do your master buss levels show before export?

If they are correct and you have set your export options correctly then it will work. 

Make sure to select Entire mix.
