bjornpdx
This started off as a Malaguena sounding Spanish guitar song. But I couldn't get the guitar to sound the way I wanted so I tried different instruments (Joshua Bell Violin was close) and finally settled on piano. I could have spent even more time tweaking the melody and esp the accompaniment but you have to call it finished at some point so here it is. Thanks for any comments/suggestions. -Bjorn NI Kontakt Grandeur Piano Omnisphere Strings Heavyocity Vocalise Gravity Pack 02 NI Raum reverb.

thegaltieribrothers
Hi Bjorn, This is a beautiful sounding piano piece with lovely vocal and synth interjections. Very relaxing and melodic. Thanks for sharing. Good Job! regards paul
David Sprouse
Beautiful piano piece Bjorn. Not sure the connection to Maleguena, but it's gorgeous.
bjornpdx
Steve, thanks! Actually I did more piano roll editing than playing here. Jack, tom Paul - thanks for listening and commenting. David, it started off sounding a lot like Malaguena but not after all the edits I made.
mark skinner
Bjorn , Simply Beautiful .. I Really liked the piano , I do hear some spots where nylon guitar backing would be real nice , but not replacing the piano. The mix was perfect , I'm also a fan of Raum reverb . Loved it .. mark

PhonoBrainer
That's a good one. It blends a lot of stuff in a nice way. Raum is a great reverb and I'd only offer the idea of just a bit more of it on the string parts, as the piano is nicely bathed in the verb. Or maybe I'm reacting to the way the string lines seem to swell, and then end abruptly sometimes. That filtered synth up top is a great add, reminds me of the furry pawed one. super pleasant and nice piano which obviously carries the piece. cheers, -Tom
