If I doubleclick on a midifile, it opens cakewalk and I have a good sound but when I try to import a midi file from within cakewalk I just can not figure out why i have no sound ... 0 scook Posted August 22, 2021 Share Posted August 22, 2021 For full MIDI performances use File > Open instead of File > Import > MIDI. File > Open is what happens when double-clicking a MIDI file. If no MIDI output device is selected in preferences, Cakewalk automatically sets up TTS-1 when opening a MIDI file. Import is intended for adding clips to an existing project.
