Hey Larry I think you should of used Bill & Ted. More younger ( the kiddos) would understand your time machine reference. Plus it would make us old farts feel a little younger than we are ?

Something strange is afoot at the Circle K... 

 

(For what it's worth,  I flew into Ontario a year or so ago, and drove to San Dimas to see if there was actually a Circle K there. There is.  I took my picture there and posted it. Exactly two of my Facebook friends actually got the reference.)

It's amazing that they got anywhere really considering that the guy in the middle doesn't even know which way round to hold the guitar.

Indeed you are right!
I played a Tennessean back in the day and had forgotten that not all Gretch's have the "thumbnail" fret markers.
And the Volume knob in front of the pickguard should have been a dead giveaway.
