Ilker Akman
I used to have the Studio Instruments with Bandlab but yesterday Cakewalk Bandlab dissappered and then I had to reinstalled the Bandlab. This time the Studio Instruments were missing. The directory c:\program files\cakewalk\studio instruments is also missing. Bandlab assistant thinks that I already have the studio instruments but I don't. How can I download those studio instruments? Should I install Bandlab to another computer and copy those directories back to my computer?
scook
Try the Cakewalk Web Installer, at this time. unlike BA, it does not check what Add-ons have previously been installed. Copying the files from another machine may not work as it will not include the registry entries added during install.
John Vere
Funny that if I open Bandlab Assistant it has all the add ons available for download. I just was there because I realized I hadn’t installed the Theme Editor. But Melodyne and Studio Instruments were also available even though they are installed already. scook
BA keeps track of what it has installed NOT what is installed on the PC. The information is stored in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\Cakewalk\Installers
Ilker Akman
Dear Scook, thank you very much. The web installer installed the Studio Instruments I hate such programmes like the Bandlab Assistant or IK Product Manager.
