Bassfaceus
Hi all ..is there a way to compare a mix e.g. with the bass at one level with a mix of the same song with the bass down. without saving and reloading both of them. What if i want to compare 4 different bass levels or different EQ soemthing like screensets for mixes Thanks
paulo
Mix recall function is probably what you are looking for, but in my (admittedly very little) experience with it, it's not really any quicker than just opening an alt mix project - hence the very little experience of it. michheld
yes, try this one: http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Mixing.49.html If your PC is too slow in switching these, bounce the Mix scenes and send them through a bus without effects. PS: To switch between the bounced versions use "exclusive solo"-switch and the solo buttons of the bounced tracks. Noel Borthwick
Mix recall is fully confiigurable and you can save snapshots of the faders and recall them at will. If all you need is A/Bing two different mix settings this is the ideal feature to use and switching scenes should be very fast if you do not choose to recall the FX settings.
John Vere
I am in the habit of always saving a mix scene and name it with the date after I export a mix. Because it might be a few months before I get back to work on it again it Helps me confirm that the CD with the same date is that version. That way if I carry on and make a mess of the nex mix it’s easy to return to ground zero. Very useful feature that I’m not sure other Daws have.
