Snap is no loger snapping

i just realized that my snap feature is no longer working. Yes it is highlighted. Doesnt matter. I have to keep clicking til I get lucky to the beginning of the measure.  I deselected and reselected it and still no good. Any ideas?

What's the snap resolution? Samples? Try changing it  to smart grid, or experiment with changing the resolution.

What view are you in, are local setting overriding the snap in the control bar ?

And make sure the To/By switch is on 'To'.

"To" is not always what you want. If the first (midi) note is not right on the money it will jilt the whole clip. Sometimes I change the first note to right on the beat when I drag so that everything else moves correctly.
