Wei Liang Yap
Yup the mute button. It stresses me that the first thing people do with the microphone is turn it off (or mute it) when they need to use it.
craigb
Please do everyone a favor and leave that off of any mic Yoko uses. In fact, make EVERY button a mute button when she's around!!!

PhonoBrainer
So when you want to mute or unmute, you have to pull the cover off, flick the switch, and then put the cover back on again? That could be awkward onstage. You might cut a small slit in the top of your cover, and then glue a small extension handle to the slideable switch, extruding the opposite end of the new switch handle extension out through the new slit in the top of the cover. That way it's less awkward to mute and unmute quickly, you won't have to fumble with your nice switch cover.
Wei Liang Yap
The idea is to leave the mic on. Prevent people from muting it. Or turning it off. (The switch is at the bottom of the mic, covered by the ferrule)
