[Solved] Use Step Record to input notes but offset by 2 Ticks?

I run the default values

Step size is 960 (Preferences > Project > Clock - Ticks per Quarter-Note)

Auto Advance Offset is 0

and everything lines up OK.

 

With settings like the images above

Step size set to  192

Auto Advance Offset set to 8

I get the same result as the images...notes offset by 2.

Don't know anything about that problem but the easiest way to deal with it is to quantize the track.

You could also select the track (ctrl-a while in piano roll view) in the piano roll view and drag to the beat if your snap is on.
