so while trying to find out what exactly "Save Copy As" is and why to use it searching the Cakewalk manual showed this result:

Where exactly to search Cakewalk specific features without involving all of the internetwebs?

I usually search the help index

I do too, but the limit to that strategy is that the search is only as good as the index. On many occasions I can find what I am looking for with  a word search of the pdf, when I cannot using the online help index. Of course the pdf is not always up to date. I remain confused about what a search in the search box at http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3 is searching or how.

The search box to the left of Support below the user login is a site search.

If I need to perform a site search on the old Cakewalk site, usually I filter the return result for "SONAR Platinum, Professional and Artist"

Then modify the url to point to the Cakewalk documentation

For example, to change the link from the SONAR Platinum version of the MIDI Event Filter MFX

http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=Plug-ins.3.html#1630159

to the current CbB page, change the product in the url from SONAR to Cakewalk

http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Plug-ins.3.html#1630159

Often this will bring up the exact page. If not it is generally pretty close.

Not perfect but adequate.

Also, if I know the feature was added to CbB, I open up the New Features section of the help and use the browser word search to find the appropriate link or open the release notes and search it
