Guyz don't forget the 360 install this will let you have the Mixer plugins witch is insane !!!

Zo, I'm sorry.  I am so lost with what is being updated!   I grabbed the SSL Native Bus Compressor 2 and Channel Strip 2 plugins last night which are awesome (thanks for the video!).  Is there something else also?  What is the "360 install"?  What are the "Mixer plugins"?

FYI, I'm looking here:

...So nothing beyond the SSL Native Bus Compressor 2 and Channel Strip 2 for non-hardware owners then?

It is true the software is used by the SSL UF8 but SSL 360° runs with or without the hardware. It provides a software console for the all the instances of the channel strip and bus compressor in the DAW.

When I open it, it says "No Devices Connected" and there is nothing that works...it's all greyed out....

Click the plug-in mixer below home

Run your DAW and add the channel strip and bus compressor

This shows CbB + SSL 360 running w/ 2 instances of the channel strip and the bus compressor on the master

Click past that screen

Run your DAW and add the channel strip and bus compressor

Same result with Cakewalk - nothing....no devices connected
Same result with Studio One

Run 360 - Instantiate Buss Comp 2 and CS 2 in DAW, - No Devices Found

Not sure what to tell you.

All I did was install and the software.

Ignored the "No Devices Connected" message

Click the Plugin Mixer, the Tips and Shortcuts popped up (this is also a button at the bottom of Settings)

Don't recall if the Tips popped up on top of "No Devices" or when I clicked the Mixer button. Was not paying attention at that time.

Started CbB

Loaded the VST3 version of the plug-ins and they populated the SSL 360.

I don't run as administrator and use Windows AV software.

Same thing I did and nothing....so something is odd...no matter what DAW I use...
that's why I figured it needed "hardware".

Maybe it's because I'm running Windows 10 21H1?

I also noticed that there is a "Plugin Mixer" button on both the Channel Strip and the Bus Comp,
but pressing them opens the mixer, but there is nothing instantiated in the mixer.

I  just tried Pro Tools latest version and same result - nothing.

My version of 360 is 1.1.31

Problem resolved.  Uninstalled 360 and reinstalled and BINGO...all good now!

That was weird...everything being "greyed out" was why I just assumed that it needed
hardware.  That's what I get for "assuming", and you know what they say about that!

Was going to suggest a re-install but assumed you would eventually get to it.

Things like that will drive me crazy....I'll do everything that I can think of until I figure out what the problem
is...probably part of my AR, OCD, PTSD, LMNOP syndrome...LOL
