Hi

I've Been Using Cakewalk now for 6 months have navigated my way around various errors and crashes but absolutely cannot find out why when a project crashes it always says Leveling tool crash fatal error

when i reboot my pc its fine .if i load the auto save file it sounds like something from a mickey mouse cartoon instruments all in differrent keys total  mayhem

Any Advice Would be helpful thanks

Are you using this thing? Try deleting it from wherever you've got it inserted. See if that stops the crashing. I can't say how to fix it, but there are other compressors you could use.

Use one of the compressors included with Cakewalk such as the recently added CA-2A.

yes, info about it is here

The link also provides additional information about improved error detection and handling.

For future reference, including a image of the error message is often helpful.

"Leveling tool" does not by itself provide a lot of information.

Knowing it is https://audiotools.se/downloads/leveling-tool/ narrows the field of possibilities down considerably.
