MIDI Velocity In Track View - Can It Be Hidden?

Hello,

From the track view, I just want to see the MIDI notes, not the velocity or other CC/NRPN information.  Is this possible?

I don't think that is velocity but it is probably controller data. The Event View will tell you for sure.

Try changing the Track Edit filter from "Clips" to "Notes", just for fun

Looks like your Edit Filter is set to display "Clips". You can change the Edit Filter to "Notes" . . . then there becomes a drop down option to view only notes and velocity, and other controllers like Wheel and Modulation can be turned off . . . but, I can't see any way to turn off the Velocity lines there. This also turns on the ability to actually edit midi notes right in Track View (without going to PRV View)

Correct, it is is NOT velocity, it is MIDI CC data.

Anyway to just remove those?

 

Changing from "Clips" to "Notes" isn't what I am looking for as it looks like this:

I personally don't know of an option to show only note events in clips and not show controller events.

I have an erratic MIDI keyboard controller that likes to emit random cc#65 "Portamento" events for no good reason and I sure like to see when they show up in the data. So personally I'd not want the CC data hidden (let alone Mod wheel and after touch events)
