Song Length

I have set up a track to do master Mixing with.  After I import the audio file and tweak the FX Chain, that I have set up, I select All or CTRL A to select the entire track the bar at the top of the tracks goes beyond the music track. As far as I know there is nothing there. If I export the song without selecting all it still includes this silent part of the track. I even delete all the audio files and select all and it still selects up to bar 97.5 For the life of me I can't work it out. Hope someone can help.

Scook, thank you for showing me the select thru end and delete. I had no idea that was in there. I can finally clean up several songs now!
