davet
Launched a project from Sonar 8.5.3, hit the Pro Channel arrow on an audio track expecting to see the default effects - nada, nothing there. I see where I can add them manually, but is there a default setting somewhere that will automatically populate the default Pro Channel effects? TIA...... msmcleod
That's because there was no ProChannel in 8.5.3. The easiest way to get a ProChannel enabled project, is to start a new blank project in CwB, then drag the 8.5.3 project on to the track area: 1

davet
Yes that is cool. I'll try it, Mark. Thanks for the heads up.
Noel Borthwick
A reset to defaults option may be useful in the pro channel. I'm not at my pc but there may already be a prochannel preset for this. If not you can make one and apply it to all your tracks
Craig Anderton
Well Noel, I find it almost impossible to believe you're not at your PC There's a Misc - Full Reset.pcp default preset at C:\Cakewalk Content\Cakewalk Core\ProChannel Presets. It includes the Compressor, QuadCurve, and Tube. I modified mine to include the Tape Emulator.
davet
I tried it Mark's way and it almost worked. It brought over the audio channels and the MIDI tracks, but didn't include Superior Drummer 2 or Trilian Bass VST instruments. There's an option to manually bring in the modules you want then apply them to all the tracks. I'll do that way. Thanks again....
