Midi audio suddenly goes very quiet

So when i record midi instruments, there always seems to be one random instrument, that for some reason as im editing or recording another midi instrument. One of the midi instrument's volume goes incredibly low, where you can barely hear it. If i close Cake walk and reload the project, the problem is fixed but after a minute or two, boom, its super quiet again. I've never been able to find out why this happens.

Check this setting Edit-Preferences-MIDI-Other Options and uncheck “Zero Controllers When Play Stops” if it is checked. If you are using Kontakt there is another setting in Kontakt that also has to be cleared to prevent stops and starts of the project from turning down the instrument.
